Mrs. Trenkamp's Guidance

Welcome to the Ed-Co Elementary Guidance Department! I am Mrs. Karla Trenkamp and I have been with the Ed-Co District for 12 years. My day involves doing whole classroom activities with all grade levels and I do small groups with all grade levels. The topics include anything from friendships to study skills and anything else that the students need. The small groups involve mostly playing games that deal with being a better person and getting along with others. Some of my small groups deal with divorce. I also meet with individual students on an as needed basis. I coordinate the Lunchmates program which involves having adults in the community come in once a month and they eat lunch with a student. I encourage parents to come in or to call if they have any concerns and I would be happy to help them in any way.
